| The Society for Humanitarian Research has held an event at Park INN hotel, to present a number of documentary films about the Karabagh conflict. Avaz Hasanov, the head of the society, explained that 21 documentary films have been made on the issue. The films range in length from 8 to 20 minutes and support the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The films are an unflinching portrayal of the conflict and some contain horrible scenes of war, uncompromising accounts of the situation the people find themselves in, as well as the attempts being made to resolve those problems. The overriding message of the films is that a resolution to the conflict should be found through peaceful means. |
